Heat treatment of metals
Heat treatment is a common name for all technologies where structure changes are used to change the properties of the volume or surface of metal materials by means of rapid or slow temperature changes. In the chemical-heat treatment, the active effect of the environment on the surface of the part with the change in carbon, nitrogen and other elements is used. The most common types of heat treatment are annealing, hardening and refining, induction surface hardening, chemical-thermal processes such as cementation, nitrocementation, nitriding, carbonitriding, boriding, etc.
The processes of annealing, refining, hardening, tempering, cementation, nitro-cementation, nitriding and boridation are carried out with our technological facilities in air, in protective atmosphere or in salt baths.
